About the position
We are seeking a passionate and driven Security Engineer (1+ years of experience) with a solid technical foundation in IT, networking, or support.
Qualifications
- •1+ years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, SOC, infrastructure, or technical support roles.
- •Hands-on exposure to endpoint, SaaS, or network security technologies.
- •Experience supporting security monitoring, alert triage, incident handling, or vulnerability management activities.
- •Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, firewalls, MDM, or similar security and IT tooling.
- •Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS administration, user management, and endpoint troubleshooting.
- •Understanding of core networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, and firewalls.
- •Working knowledge of at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on security and IT operations role.
- •Entry-level security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or equivalent are a plus.
